We are sharing this event from our partner organization, Cadillac Cares. Join citizen organizers Cadillac Cares at the Shay Locomotive at 10 AM.
In America, we don’t put up with would-be kings.
We rose up once, and on October 18, we’ll rise again—because one protest isn’t enough to protect our democracy.
As the president escalates his authoritarian power grab, the NO KINGS nonviolent movement continues to grow stronger. We are united once again to remind the world: America has no kings, and the power belongs to the people.
Our first No Kings protest on June 14 brought over 5 million people into the streets—a show of force that proved the strength of our movement. Now, on Saturday, October 18, we’re holding our second national protest—because this isn’t about one day, it’s about building a movement that lasts.
On October 18, rise up, take to the streets, and say it loud: no thrones, no crowns, no kings. We’re not watching history happen—we’re making it. Join us.

A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.
