Kitchen Table Conversations: Secretary of State Candidates

Date: Tuesday, March 3 • Meet & Greet TBD • Program from 5:30 – 7:30 PM
Location: Will Be Shared with Registered Attendees
Pull up a chair and join us for Kitchen Table Conversations, a community gathering designed to bring candidates together to discuss the issues that matter most to our region. This welcoming, public event invites attendees — community members, neighbors, and local leaders alike — to listen, learn, and explore shared priorities in a respectful, solutions-focused setting.
Who Will Join Us?
We have invited the Democratic candidates for Michigan Secretary of State to our second Kitchen Table Conversations event.
Important Note:
Democratic candidates for Secretary of State do not run against each other in a primary race. Rather, one candidate will be endorsed by voting members of the Michigan Democratic Party at its April convention. We encourage registered Michigan Democrats who plan to attend the State Endorsement Convention in Detroit on April 18, 2026, to attend this event.
Confirmed Guests:
Moderated by two local leaders, the evening’s conversations will center on:
- Election Security and Election Qualifications
- Driver’s Education and Licensure
- Efficiency at Secretary of State Offices
Unlike a debate or town hall, Kitchen Table Conversations is about collaboration, not confrontation. Questions and comments from the floor will not be part of the format. Instead, the goal is to create space where candidates and community members can seek common ground and envision a path forward — together.
Join us for a thoughtful and constructive dialogue.
This event is sponsored and paid for by the Wexford County Democratic Party and not authorized by any candidate or candidate’s committee. Candidates have not been compensated for their appearance in any way.
