WCDP County Convention
March 11 @ 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm
The Wexford County Democratic Party Convention (the “Wexford Spring Convention”) will convene in person on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at 5:30 at the MEA office on North Mitchell Street across from the Wex. The Convention will precede our regular monthly business meeting.
Registration and credentialing will begin at 5:00 pm and continue until 5:30 pm.
The purpose of the Wexford Spring Convention shall be to:
- Elect delegates to serve directly or as an alternate on any or all of the Resolutions Committee, Rules Committee, or Credentialing Committee.
- Consider resolutions submitted to the Wexford County Committee.
- Rank candidates for:
- One (1) candidate for Secretary of State
- One (1) candidate for Attorney General
- Two (2) candidates for State Supreme Court
- Two (2) candidates for State Board of Education
- Two (2) candidates for Michigan State University Board of Trustees
- Two (2) candidates for Wayne State University Board of Governors
- Two (2) candidates for University of Michigan Board of Regents
